Welcome to the Italian Charms section of my website.   
Basically, I have two types - authentic Italian Charms and
your less expensive charms for all you people on a tight
budget.  I would like to explain the difference, which will also
explain the costing of both.

Authentic Charms
First and foremost, all authentic charms are soldered together
for a longer-lasting and higher-quality product. Authentic
Italian charms are made in Florance, Italy. These are the
Zoppini, Talexa and ReFlorance (Disney) charms. If they are
enamel-looking charms (not laser or photo), they are most
likely lined or made totally with 18K gold. Casa D' Oro is an
Italian company.  However, their charms are made in China,
but made in the same high quality manner as the Italian.
Some are made with 18K and are listed as such. The
ProCharms are made in China, as well.  Like Casa D' Oro,
ProCharm products are made in the same high quality
manner as Italian. Licensed products (Disney, NFL, etc.) will
always cost more. Companies must buy the approval from the
licensed agent to make these products.

All $4.00 Charms
Most $4.00 Charms sold on my website are made by two
companies in China, D'Linq and UBerry.  These companies
glue their charms instead of the soldering process. The
enamel charms are painted color and not lined with 18K gold.
The lasered charms (words only) are lasered on the charm
itself. The photo charms are glued but usually hold up very
well.

Other Differences
When you are buying the D'Linq or UBerry products there is a
chance they are not 100% stainless steel. However, all
authentic charms and bracelets are 100% stainless steel.
Except for the 100% stainless steel there is no difference
between lasered Italian or Chinese charms.
